Southsea Quidditch is open for new members! Quidditch is great whether you’ve played team sports before or not.
We accept community members, graduates and students. You need to be over 18 to train and compete.
Where is training?
We train weekly and have monthly priority trainings that move around the county.
See our upcoming training events and locations on Facebook.
What happens at my first training session?
We don’t expect you to start quidditch knowing how to play and we’ll teach you from the basics up.
You’ll meet the team, join in full games and take part in drills to work on skills like throwing and catching.
We’ll introduce you to keeping, chasing, beating and seeking, and give you an overview of the game.
You should wear clothes that you can do sports in and that you don’t mind getting muddy, wear football boots or trainers if you can, bring plenty of water and a warm jumper for after the session.
If you want to get ahead, check out how to play.
What happens next?
After your first training session we’ll make sure that you have details of our next training event and check that you have a way to contact us.
If you want to get in touch you can reach us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
